News: Chemonics Does Digital Health

| 2 Minute Read

Chemonics convenes its digital health experts for the virtual Global Digital Health Forum from December 7 to 9, 2020.

Digital health presents new opportunities to contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 3, to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages. We are proud to promote technological development and engage the workforce necessary to harness and leverage the power and possibility behind digital health.

Next week, Chemonics will join more than 1,000 digital health practitioners as a sponsor of the 7th Global Digital Health Forum taking place virtually from December 7 to 9, 2020. Presentations and discussions will center around the theme Digital Health – Making ItWork for Everyone, inspiring government stakeholders, digital health technologists, researchers, donors, and implementers from across the globe to explore ways we can bridge technological gaps and shape the future of digital health to accelerate universal health coverage.

The Forum will feature TED-style talks, panel presentations, hands-on workshops, deep-dive lab sessions, an interactive “Appy Hour”, vendor tables, and a showcase of technical posters. We look forward to showcasing two digital health activities designed to improve global collaboration for forecasting of lifesaving health commodities and streamline human resources information systems. Our staff will also moderate four sessions on the critical role of community health workers and logistics information systems in digital health transformation.
