We work with local agriculture stakeholders and policymakers to understand the barriers to establishing an enabling environment for sustainable and productive food systems. To achieve this, Chemonics provides technical assistance to identify policy priorities, conduct research, strengthen dialogue platforms, and develop strategic public-private partnerships. Through these avenues, we are improving policy systems and institutions by providing evidence-based policy actions around myriad issues including customs, seed multiplication and distribution, input supply, land tenure, finance and investment, natural resource management, trade, food traceability, and sanitary and phytosanitary regulations.
