Mobilizing Finance to Secure a Resilient Future for People and Planet .

The Sustainable Investment Accelerator

Project Dates: September 2022 - September 2030
The Sustainable Investment Accelerator (SIA) is USAID’s flagship initiative to increase investment in green, resilient projects and enterprises in emerging economies.

SIA is a flexible platform for mobilizing capital faster and at greater scale to areas where it will have greater impact in securing a resilient future for both people and planet. By aligning the needs and priorities of investors, innovators, and communities, SIA cultivates effective private sector partnerships and innovative, market-based solutions that minimize friction and maximize resources. This results in smart, strategic investments that help cultivate more resilient infrastructure, agricultural production systems, and economies while protecting biodiversity and critical landscapes.

We invite interested organizations to join SIA’s Sustainable Finance Investment Network (SFIN). SIA shares learning and partnership opportunities to contacts registered with the SFIN. Active, future, and archived procurements can also be accessed here.

*SIA is formerly known as the Climate Finance for Development Accelerator
