Botswana Country Director, USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program - Procurement and Supply Management Project Phetogo Phoi
Phetogo Phoi is a seasoned public health professional with 29 years of experience in health practice, 14 years of which were spent in supply chain management. Her key qualifications include project management and leadership. She has experience in managing teams build capacity and strengthen supply chain management. Phetogo is currently working as the country director for the Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project in Botswana. Notable achievements under her leadership include successful implementation of adult and pediatric antiretroviral (ARV) optimization such as transition to dolutegravir (DTG)-based regimens, and development and rollout of the emergency supply chain framework during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her previous work experience includes being country director for the Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) project, as well as several positions at various facilities of the Ministry of Health and Wellness in Botswana.
