Senior Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director Dr. Kenya Dugger
Dr. Kenya Dugger brings 21 years of experience in the Army and Department of Defense, and more than twelve years of experience working with executives and employees in the areas of global diversity and inclusion, data analysis, culture awareness, ethics and compliance, and human resources. Prior to his position at Chemonics, Kenya spent two years as deputy director in the Center for the Army Profession, Diversity and Leadership, where he advised on D&I programming. He also served as adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University where he developed and taught curriculum in diversity and inclusion, organizational leadership, and human resource management, emphasizing the importance of multicultural awareness.
Kenya previously served as senior global deputy director of diversity and inclusion where he monitored all aspects of talent acquisition, analyzing and tracking hiring trends and recruiting. He also served as senior diversity, equity, and inclusion program director where he advised strategic level leadership on all matters relating to cultural diversity, safe psychological space, and inclusion programs for 10,000 DOD personnel to prevent, reduce, or eliminate discriminatory practices.
Kenya has a doctor of education in organizational leadership with an emphasis on DEI from Grand Canyon University; a master of science in human resource management from the University of Maryland University College; a diversity, equity, and inclusion executive-level certification from Cornell University; and a graduate-level certification in human resource management from the University of Maryland University College.
