The UNGC is a “voluntary initiative based on CEO commitments to implement universal sustainability principles.” The compact aims to build momentum among participating companies and stakeholders to foster a more sustainable, equitable world. The UNGC calls on members to align their operations with the United Nations’ 10 universally accepted environmental, human rights, labor, and anti-corruption principles.
“The past two years have certainly tested us all, but I firmly believe that we can continue to achieve sustainable change as long as we continue to be guided by our commitment to our mission and our values of caring, excellence, innovation, integrity, and opportunity.”
Jamey Butcher, President and CEO, Chemonics International
