Chemonics and Arizona State University (ASU) established a partnership in 2016 based on our shared belief that the collaboration between development practitioners and researchers produces evidence-based, dynamic solutions. We combine ASU’s depth across a wide variety of academic disciplines with Chemonics’ practical international development experience in 150 countries worldwide, creating a free exchange of ideas and a worldwide laboratory for testing and scaling innovations to solve the world’s toughest problems. Our joint initiatives include:
- Solutions labs. Chemonics and ASU experts form problem-solving teams that identify profound challenges and implement game-changing solutions. Learn more about our solutions labs here.
- The Student Development Corps. Chemonics accesses undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral-level ASU students who conduct research and develop solutions and products that amplify development impact. Students gain exposure to real-world problems in development contexts, build leadership skills, and begin lifelong professional networks while contributing to Chemonics’ work.
- Continual learning opportunities. Chemonics and ASU have teamed up to provide our global workforce with continued education at a prestigious university in a flexible, low-cost format. Together, we created two MiniMasters, one in Management and Leadership and one in Global Supply Chain Management, which are online accredited graduate certificates that link to master’s programs at ASU.
