The HRH2030 Health Worker Life Cycle provides a health worker-centered approach to the health labor market framework.
To frame the work of the Chemonics-led USAID Human Resources for Health in 2030 (HRH2030) country programs, HRH2030 created the Health Worker Life Cycle Approach. While drawing inspiration from the Sousa et al. Health Labor Market Framework (which informed the World Health Organization’s Global Strategy on Human Resources for Health), this life cycle adds a human-centered angle — in fact, a health worker-centered angle — to help implement evidence- and policy-based strategies to build, manage, and optimize human resources for health.
