This final report summarizes the achievements of the Syria Regional Program II (SRP II), which supported local Syrian entities to seek a more moderate, inclusive, and stable Syria.
Syria Regional Program II (SRP II) operated with the goal of achieving a moderate, inclusive, and stable Syria. The project maintained and increased the influence of strategic moderate entities, strengthened communities to better resist extremism, and enabled the early recovery of newly liberated areas from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) by providing grants to strategic, moderate Syrian entities. This final report serves as a high-level overview of the program’s operations, strategy, activities, and achievements, as well as the challenges and lessons learned from the project.
