This primer explains the shared objectives and elements of Chemonics and Arizona State University’s partnership.

By combining ASU’s depth across a wide variety of academic disciplines with Chemonics’ practical international development experience in 150 countries worldwide, our goal is to create a free exchange of ideas and a worldwide laboratory for testing and scaling innovations to solve the world’s toughest problems. The shared objectives for both parties includes apply research to learn from each other, advance development through innovation, focus on real world impact and leverage their complementary assets. The two elements of the partnership include the Solutions Labs and the Student Development Corps, both of which combine both of their expertise create catalytic interventions that spur development solutions.
