Commodity Security Director, GHSC-PSM Shane McGee
Currently the GHSC-PSM commodity security director, Shane McGee is an international development professional with 11 years of experience in government, non-profit, and for-profit organizations. Previously with Chemonics, Mr. McGee served as the chief of party and deputy chief of party for the Rwanda Family Health Project. Prior to serving in Rwanda, he worked with Chemonics’ home office managing projects such as the USAID-funded Malawi Indoor Residual Spraying project and the Nigeria MARKETS agricultural development project. Prior to joining Chemonics, Mr. McGee served as a project management analyst with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and as a research fellow with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). He also served as an education volunteer for the Peace Corps in Malawi. Mr. McGee holds a master’s degree in international administration and international studies from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in social science from Eastern Michigan University.
