Deputy Chief of Party-Technical, USAID/Colombia Economic Integration in Migrant Community Activity Sergio Barraza
Sergio Barraza is a private sector development specialist with more than 12 years of experience designing and implementing projects that promote the economic integration of vulnerable communities and developing sustainable value chains in urban and rural areas. Sergio is currently the Deputy Chief of Party – Technical for the $40 million USAID/Colombia Economic Integration in Migrant Communities Activity, the second task order under the Venezuela Response Integration Activity. Previously, he worked across public and private sector positions developing programs, projects and public policies in areas including competitiveness, business innovation, foreign direct investment, trade promotion, rural development, employment and entrepreneurship. Sergio holds a MSc in Development Administration and Planning from the University College London (UCL) and a B.A. in International Relations from Universidad del Norte in Colombia.
