Capacity Building Specialist (Senior), Tajikistan Rural Water Supply (RWS) Activity Savrinisso Kurbonbekova
Savrinisso Kurbonbekova has been with the USAID Rural Water Supply (RWS) Activity for more than three years, and has 23 years of experience working for international organizations, with 20 years of experience in training programs management, including needs assessment, international marketing, monitoring and evaluation of training programs. This included developing and implementing USAID-sponsored US, regional, and country-specific training programs (in the fields of health, agriculture, democracy, education, and good governance) for different USAID participants’ training and local governance projects. Served as Local Government Field Coordinator and Project Manager for three USAID Local Governance projects assisting in supervising the projects’ overall work, including local government relations development and citizen involvement, leading efforts in capacity building of sub-national government officials in partner sites (technical assistance, network development, and peer-to-peer learning networks). Worked for country specific and regional projects. Has working experience in CAR (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan).
Within the USAID RWS project, she is responsible for supporting the RWS in development and implementation of capacity building interventions/training activities for water providers, local government officials and communities, based on their training needs. Coordinates the establishment and performance process of Community Advisory Boards as a dialogue platform between drinking water providers and served communities in the target sites; ensures that grant activities are compliant with project objectives (Obj. 3: Increase engagement of communities in oversight and accountability of drinking water service providers); and contributes to the overall project results achievement.
