Deputy Team Lead, FCDO-funded Syria Education Programme II Riham Jabbar
Riham Jabbar is the Deputy Team Lead – Technical, overseeing the Syria Education Programme II, guiding innovative and inclusive education initiatives in crisis-affected contexts. Riham leads multi-functional teams to design and implement impactful programmes, with a strong focus on quality education, advocacy, safeguarding, and Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI). A skilled facilitator, Riham has contributed to various global innovation labs, and built collaborative partnerships with diverse stakeholders to drive sustainable solutions. Since joining Chemonics in 2017, Riham has held several key positions, from Programme Officer to Senior Communications and Learning Manager. Her work focuses on bridging policy and practice, empowering communities, and fostering lasting change within educative boundaries. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Aleppo.
