Parvez Asheque is a finance and private sector engagement specialist with more than 20 years of experience in health systems strengthening, resource mobilization, and market development. He serves as the Chief of Party of the USAID Advancing Universal Health Coverage (AUHC) project in Bangladesh. Prior to Chemonics, Parvez worked in the market systems strengthening space in senior leadership roles across Swisscontact, GIZ, PSI, and CARE in South Asia and Central Asia. Across projects, he led health systems strengthening initiatives focusing on public-private partnerships, private investment, and innovations in health financing for low-income populations. Parvez holds a master’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in commerce finance from the University of Dhaka.
