Regional Director, Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine Olga Ponamarova
Olga Ponamarova (she/her/hers) is a gender and social inclusion specialist with more than 10 years of experience in project management working with and within civil society organizations and humanitarian response and development projects in Ukraine. Olga worked for the USAID-funded Democratic Governance East project as a gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) specialist contributing to specific context-driven activities to address gender concerns and mainstream GESI into all project activities.
Olga served as regional director for the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU) project. In this role, she provided overall project leadership, management, and technical direction based on strategic long-term vision within Southern Ukraine. Olga also contributed to the development and implementation of annual work plans and budgets, gave input on the design of all technical activities in the south of Ukraine, and provided oversight of technical activities’ implementation. Olga holds a master’s degree in history and law from the East Ukrainian National University and graduated from the gender pro capacity building program from the George Washington University.
