Regional Director, Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine Olga Ponamarova

Olga Ponamarova (she/her/hers) is a gender and social inclusion specialist with more than 10 years of experience in project management working with and within civil society organizations and humanitarian response and development projects in Ukraine. Olga has worked for the USAID-funded Democratic Governance East project as a gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) specialist contributing to specific context-driven activities to address gender concerns and mainstream GESI into all project activities.

Olga currently serves as regional director for the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU) project. In this role, she provides overall project leadership, management, and technical direction based on strategic long-term vision within Southern Ukraine. Olga also contributes to the development and implementation of annual work plans and budgets, gives input on the design of all technical activities in the south of Ukraine, and provides oversight of technical activities’ implementation. Olga holds a master’s degree in history and law from the East Ukrainian National University and graduated from the gender pro capacity building program from the George Washington University.
