Moazzem Hossain

Deputy Chief of Party Moazzem Hossain

Moazzem Hossain is a results-driven education development expert with over 19 years of experience in spearheading technical and operational initiatives for large-scale education programs. As the deputy chief of party for USAID’s Higher Secondary Education Activity, he leads technical and strategic management efforts, ensuring the program aligns with national priorities to elevate higher secondary education in Bangladesh.

Previously, Moazzem served as a global education advisor for Basic Education, driving improvements in learning outcomes across ten Asian and two African countries. He provided technical expertise in literacy, numeracy, EdTech, inclusive education, and early childhood care and development, fostering collaboration among government policy makers, INGOs, researchers, and educators. A seasoned strategist, Moazzem excels in program management, teacher training, and community engagement. He holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Dhaka.
