Director, Internal Communications Martha James

Martha James is a senior strategic communications practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience in designing and implementing communications and engagement strategies for international organizations and programs. As director of internal communications at Chemonics, Martha is responsible for designing tools, events, and strategies that inform, engage, connect, and motivate Chemonics’ global workforce across multiple platforms. Prior to Chemonics, she worked in external communications and led project communications, with an emphasis on developing and sharing communications tools with Chemonics’ project teams worldwide. She has a M.A. in international affairs from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida.
