Maria Paula Vargas is an international development professional with 25 years of professional experience, including 20 years of project administration experience on complex and high-value projects. She is experienced with facilitating financial management, grants and subcontracts management, compliance oversight, and stakeholder collaborations. She currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Party of Operations for the $160 million USAID/Colombia Venezuela Response and Integration Activity, and previously served operations and finance director for the $37.8 million USAID/Colombia Paramos and Forests Activity. Maria speaks Spanish and English.
