Deputy Chief of Party Marcela Youle

Marcela Youle is a senior project management specialist with 15 years of professional experience and over a decade managing international development projects throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Marcela is currently the deputy chief of party for operations on the Guatemala Youth and Gender Justice Project. She has expertise in project communications, contract compliance, financial analysis and budgeting, human resource management and recruitment, grant and subcontract management, new business generation, and proposal development. Since joining Chemonics in 2005, Marcela has held leadership positions on projects in various technical areas, including the Environmental Management and Forest Governance Support Activity (Peru Bosques) and the Quality Healthcare Project, both in Peru. Marcela began her career with Chemonics in the Human Resources Department before joining the Latin American and Caribbean region. Marcela holds an M.A. in communications, with honors in international business diplomacy, from Georgetown University, and a B.A. in political science from Wellesley College.
