Country Director, USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program–Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) in Uganda Khalid Mohammed Abdul
Khalid Mohammed Abdul is the country director for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project in Uganda, where he oversees the procurement and distribution of essential HIV/AIDS, malaria, and family planning commodities. He is a logistician with more than 20 years of experience in developing, managing, and implementing health supply management systems for health commodities, including demand planning and procurement distribution. Throughout his career, Khalid has supported various programs that provided technical assistance to the Ugandan Ministry of Health by supporting national medical warehouses, supporting logistics system development, and successfully implemented strategies that strengthened information systems for health commodities aimed at building more efficient health supply chains. Khalid holds an MBA from the Makerere University Business School in Kampala, Uganda.
