Senior Technical Advisor, USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) Project Dr. Kartlos Kankadze

Dr. Kartlos Kankadze has 19 years of experience in health program management and clinical practice in tuberculosis, HIV, infectious diseases, and reproductive health in Eastern Europe. Kartlos is currently the senior technical advisor for the GHSC-PSM project. Previously, he was the director of the HRH2030 Philippines buy-in and served as chief of party for the Strengthening Tuberculosis Control in Ukraine project. Before that, as chief of party for the USAID Healthy Women in Georgia program, Kartlos piloted and scaled up a Supportive Supervision Program in three regions of Georgia, improving the quality of services among a regional network of health facilities. As head of the Division of Medical Technologies with the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs in Georgia, Kartlos led donor coordination and management to achieve improved TB services. Additionally, he worked to initiate the National Tuberculosis Program in Georgia. Kartlos holds an M.D. and Ph.D. from Tbilisi State Medical University and an M.P.H. from the State University of New York.
