Chief of Party, Human Rights Accountability Activity (Promoviendo la Rendición de Cuentas por los Derechos Humanos (RED-DH)) Cristina Hardaga Fernández
Cristina Hardaga Fernández is the chief of party of the Human Rights Accountability Activity (Promoviendo la Rendición de Cuentas por los Derechos Humanos (RED-DH)), a five-year USAID-funded project focused on enhancing the capacity and commitment of the Mexican government to provide effective and accountable responses to grave human rights violations, such as forced disappearances and torture. She has more than 15 years’ experience working on issues related to human rights and gender equality. Prior to this role, Cristina worked on the EnfoqueDH project from 2015 to 2020. Cristina holds a B.A. in international relations, a Master’s degree in human rights from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico, and a specialization in human rights and democratization processes from the Universidad de Chile.
