Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Director Abdulkader Alaeddin
Abdulkader Alaeddin is a monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) expert with 14 years of experience designing, implementing, and leading MERL activities in conflict-affected areas across the Middle East, including in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey. He has experience designing and implementing grants programs, including in the health sector. As of 2013, Mr. Alaeddin has led Syria MEL activities for various programs, including stabilization and humanitarian programs funded by the U.S. Department of State, USAID’s Office of Transition initiatives, the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, and the European Union. Prior to joining Chemonics, Mr. Alaeddin monitored vaccination campaigns in Syria as a consultant for the World Health Organization. Mr. Alaeddin specializes in providing training sessions in program and MEL design and implementation in remote-work environments. He holds a B.A. in pharmaceutical science from the University of Aleppo.
