The Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project implemented by Chemonics International has released Request for Proposals (RFP) No GHSC-PSM-TO4-2021-01 to solicit eligible organizations to provide updates to The Manual for Procurement and Supply of Quality-Assured Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Commodities. GHSC-PSM published and designed this manual to assist procurement agencies and procurement specialists in establishing a quality assurance (QA) system for the procurement of MNCH products. It provides comprehensive information on the specific quality requirements that must be met to ensure the quality, safety, and efficacy of MNCH products across the full MNCH supply chain in a country, up to the point of use. The manual provides detailed product specifications for eight priority MNCH commodities. The objective of this activity is to increase knowledge around requirements for procurement of quality-assured maternal health products among government agencies and manufacturers through the creation of additional commodity chapters of the manual.
