Chemonics at the 2023 Global Health Supply Chain Summit .
Event | December 1, 2023
The summit was held in Nairobi, Kenya, from November 14-16.
Chemonics staff were excited to join more than 400 other supply chain professionals from around the world at the recent 2023 Global Health Supply Chain Summit (GHSCS). Our staff from Burkina Faso, Kenya, Niger, Rwanda, Zambia, and Washington, D.C., participated in a series of presentations and panels under the summit theme, “The Journey to Self-Reliance: Sustainable and Resilient Supply Chains for Equitable Access to Healthcare.” Participants explored governance models, innovations, partnerships, and approaches for the next generation of equitable, resilient health systems and the supply chains that support them.
Chemonics hosted a panel side session on “Strengthening Supply Chain Governance for Sustainable Health Outcomes.” Moderated by our Chemonics Senior Vice President and USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management project (GHSC-PSM) IDIQ Director Judi Heichelheim, the discussion focused on how to strengthen governance structures and policies that enable person-centric health supply chains and allow innovations to thrive.
