Chief of Party, Uganda Strategic Investments Activity William John Nyakatura

William J. Nyakatura is the Chief of Party for the USAID Uganda Strategic Investments Activity (SIA). Before, William was the activity’s Director of Investment Facilitation, where he spearheaded the development of robust pipeline and credit risk analysis systems tailored for investors in agriculture and related sectors. Prior to working in development, he had a three-year tenure as Managing Director at Kinsman Advisory, where he assisted small and medium enterprises in Uganda in securing capital. He led the transaction advisory department at the African Alliance Investment Bank, orchestrating private equity placements, initial public offerings across Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda, and served as the firm’s dealer on the Uganda and Rwanda Stock Exchanges. William holds a bachelor of business administration with a focus in finance and financial management services from Makerere University.
