Managing Director Lucine le Moal
Lucine Le Moal is the managing director of the USAID Invest activity which provides investment advice and facilitation for businesses and investors in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Previously, Lucine led ELAN, a UK aid project in the DRC that supported the development of the private sector for seven years, especially in the sectors of agriculture and renewable energy. Lucine has extensive experience in managing investment programs as well as advising the private sector in emerging markets. She led the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) consulting activities in the Central African Republic, Congo, and Equatorial Guinea. Before joining IFC, she was head of strategy and corporate social responsibility at Areva. Lucine holds an Executive MBA in finance from the INSEEC School of Business and Economics in France, a master’s degree in European public policy from London South Bank University and a master’s degree in finance from Sorbonne University in Paris.
