Myanmar Country Director, USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program - Procurement and Supply Management Project Kevin Biggs
Kevin Biggs is a chemist and the country director for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project in Myanmar. Kevin held diverse positions through his career before joining the development field, including laboratory manager and analytical scientist in the pharmaceutical industry for 11 years. Before GHSC-PSM, he worked for Johnson and Johnson (J&J) managing laboratories to enhance analytical methods for ensuring the quality of medical products. Kevin also worked for the United States Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) tackling public health challenges for supply chain security through the use of technology. As country director, he focuses on applying his knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and expertise in leveraging data to address challenges across HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria health supply chains. Kevin holds a doctorate in chemistry from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of California Berkeley.
