Chief of Party, Colombia-TDA Elisa Bravo Henao
Elisa Bravo is an environment and natural resource management and artisan and small-scale mining (ASM) mining specialist with more than 16 years of experience working on projects in Colombia. She worked with various international organizations specializing in biodiversity conservation and community development throughout her career. Elisa currently serves as the Chief of Party for the USAID-funded project Tierra Dorada Activity, where she leads and manages efforts to improve biodiversity conservation, ecosystem resilience, and natural resource management in areas affected by illegal and informal mining in the Choco, Antioquia, and Bolivar regions in Colombia. Elisa holds a dual Bachelor of Science in environmental studies and environmental engineering from San Francisco State University and Escuela de Ingenieria in Antioquia, as well as a Master’s in environmental management from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia.
