Technical Director Dima Ali
As Technical Director, Dima leads the activity design, technical approach, and quality oversight for education programming. She enjoys more than 20 years of UN and organizational experience both in Syria and Germany working in different domains such as education, psychosocial support, child protection, humanitarian support, community development & mobilization, and socio-economic development. Dima started her career in fieldwork where she enjoyed direct communication with beneficiaries and could see with her own eyes the power of education and the community’s will to make a change. After fieldwork, she took the lead in different management and consultancy positions for 15 years. Throughout her career, she has worked with different refugees and internally displaced communities of different nationalities, as well as local communities in Syria and Germany. Dima has a B.A. in Education and Psychology, a Diploma in Education, and an M.A. in growth psychology with a focus on children. In 2019, she was granted an international Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance from Fordham University.
