Manager, Energy Team Dhanika De Silva
Dhanika De Silva has more than five years of experience in structuring large, multi-stakeholder international development projects focused on catalyzing private sector investment into energy projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. He holds expertise in project finance, transaction advisory, investment analysis, commercial power development, and policy formulation, including in sub-Saharan Africa, South and South East Asia, and the Pacific. He also has experience providing advisory services for high ranking government officials, CEOs of private sector companies, and management teams at development finance and supranational institutions. His business development experience includes developing bid strategies, identifying and structuring dynamic partner consortiums, and writing technical proposals for energy infrastructure bids across Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. Previously, Dhanika has worked in macroeconomic analysis and policy formulation at the World Bank Global Macroeconomics and Fiscal Management Group Headquarters in Washington D.C. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Government from Hamilton College.
