Namibia Country Director, GHSC-PSM Benjamin Ongeri
Benjamin Ongeri is a pharmacist and a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) with more than 15 years of pharmaceutical management experience. He provides overall strategic direction for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project in Namibia. This includes leading the development of pharmaceutical supply chain systems strengthening technical strategies and work plans and monitoring the project’s programmatic, financial, and administrative performance. Prior to joining GHSC-PSM, Benjamin was a senior technical manager on USAID’s Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) project in Namibia, where he contributed to the development and implementation of eLMIS tools and dashboards that enabled ART program data visibility for the Ministry of Health and local partners. He holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Nairobi and a master’s degree in logistics supply chain management from the Namibia University of Science and Technology.
