Director, Europe and Eurasia Andrew Baker

Andrew Baker is a director in the Europe and Eurasia region with a portfolio that includes agriculture and market systems focused projects. Previously, he served as the chief of party for the USAID Punjab (Pakistan) Enabling Environment Project and has extensive experience as a home office project management director working with both USAID and FCDO programs. Andrew also served as the deputy team lead and poultry component lead for nearly four years for the USAID-funded Sri Lanka Supporting Opportunities for Livelihoods Development Project. He has held other positions at Chemonics, including in operations, start-up, and project management for programs in North Africa and the Middle East. Prior to joining Chemonics, he was a project manager for the global USAID-funded Farmer to Farmer program. Andrew holds a M.A. in Multicultural and Organizational Communications from De Paul University and a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology.
