Project Report | July 30, 2021
This final report summarizes the achievements of the USAID Justice for a Sustainable Peace (JSP) Activity, which strengthened Colombia’s access to justice in conflict affected regions.
From April 2017 to September 2021, the Justice for a Sustainable Peace (JSP) Activity strengthened Colombia’s access to justice, increased citizen support for the rule of law, and improved the judicial response for victims affected by the armed conflict. Focusing on 54 prioritized municipalities in six departments, the Activity fostered a systemic, holistic, and comprehensive approach by bringing together national and local governments, civil society organizations (CSOs), the private sector, and academia to ensure a contextualized, participative, and differential response to the justice needs of the most vulnerable groups. This final report summarizes the achievements and outcomes of the activity.
