Contraceptive packaging impacts supply chains and product availability.
Product packaging is important for contraceptive security. It is relevant at every level of the supply chain and contributes to the “6 rights” of logistics. As a result, USAID, UNFPA, and the Chemonics-led USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management Project (GHSC-PSM) began a multi-year, coordinated effort to consider improvements how products are packaged.
