Project Report | April 20, 2024
This report covers the strategies and resources implemented in Bangladesh to help the Surjer Hashi Network make quality health services more accessible for many.
From 2017 to 2024, the Advancing Universal Health Coverage (AUHC) Activity worked to successfully transition the network of smiling sun clinics managed by 25 different non-governmental organizations into the Surjer Hashi Network, a single not-for-profit company. This transformation aided the healthcare network into becoming a sustainable social enterprise with greater efficiency and long-term viability.
The AUHC Final Report details key project processes and lessons learned that can guide other health strengthening activities. Some of the report’s highlights include key achievements, success stories, and a performance monitoring plan.
