Warehousing and Inventory Logistics Advisor, USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management Project Steve Thomas
Steve Thomas is a logistics and supply chain expert with more than 35 years of experience. Steve is well-versed in international logistics and currently serves as a warehousing and inventory logistics advisor for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management project. He previously worked in China, where he was the vice president of operations for a global third-party logistics provider. He understands the challenges of international trade and is known for effective internal relationships with procurement and warehouse operation teams, partnering with them to develop guidelines for purchasing, storage and distribution that include improved calculations of first costs and landed costs. Steve is highly skilled in Activity Based Costing and Activity Based Management.
