Leadership, Governance, and Accountability Advisor - Senegal HSS Dr. Youssoufa Lo
Dr. Youssoufa Lo is a Leadership, Governance, and Accountability Advisor with more than 20 years of experience in public health, malaria control and prevention, and health policy intervention and governance. He is serving as an advisor for the five-year USAID/Senegal Building a Resilient Health System activity. Youssoufa supports the Senegalese Ministry of Health in strengthening its governance and implementation capacities and assists the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) in developing a comprehensive malaria elimination plan. Before joining this activity in Senegal, Youssoufa worked as a Senior Technical Advisor to the Guinean NMCP with Chemonics’ Human Resources for Health 2030 project. For four years, he assisted the NMCP with coordination, planning, staff management, and staff capacity building in leadership and management. Youssoufa earned his medical doctorate from the University of Dakar.
