This guide provides an overview of disability inclusion monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) tools for development-sector implementers who seek to integrate disability inclusion throughout their work.
Integrating disability inclusion into international development programming is critical to achieving inclusive development goals. This guide is intended to support proposal and project teams in meeting requirements for disaggregated participant data (or other disability inclusion measures) and to integrate disability inclusion into their monitoring and evaluation plans. It includes background on data and disability inclusion, tools and methodologies for measuring inclusiveness of activities and spaces, and tools and methodologies for generating disability-disaggregated participant data. The guide also includes illustrative indicators across technical sectors and checklists for inclusion and accessibility.
