Senior Grants Manager, USAID Pakistan Investment Promotion Activity Usman Kirmani

Usman Kirmani is a seasoned economic growth and private sector development professional with more than 16 years of experience in international development and humanitarian contexts, including in leadership positions, most notably in Pakistan and Nigeria. Usman’s expertise includes facilitating access to finance and investments for private sector-led economic growth, particularly focusing on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and fostering partnerships with local and international investors, including venture capitalists, family offices, diaspora organizations, and development partners to promote inclusive economic growth across multiple sectors. His extensive knowledge spans private sector engagement, climate action, operations and financial analysis, risk management, and contract management, among others. He holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bahria University.
