Senior Vice President, Talent, Learning, and Development Sarah Ahmed
Sarah Ahmed is a development professional with 17 years of experience in U.S. government-funded projects in democracy and governance, and peace, stability, and transition across the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. As senior vice president of Talent, Learning, and Development, she is responsible for creating efficiencies through improved processes and guidance in the areas of business development strategy, talent acquisition and management, and portfolio performance across its seven regional business units. Prior to this role, Sarah served in leadership positions including senior project director, chief of party, and deputy chief of party on complex stabilization and local governance projects. As co-chair of Chemonics’ Diversity and Inclusion Council, she provides strategic guidance to the Council and serves as a liaison to the Office of Diversity and Inclusion to elevate the voices of Chemonics’ global workforce. Sarah holds a B.A. in history from the State University of New York and an M.A. in international peace and conflict resolution from American University.
