Chemonics UK Recognised as a Top 75 Employer in the UK Social Mobility Foundation Employer Index 2024 

The Social Mobility Employer Index is the leading benchmark for evaluating how employers in the UK are promoting social mobility. Hundreds of businesses and organisations take part each year, with entries assessed across areas including outreach to schools, recruitment practices, and the creation of diverse career pathways. The Index underscores the vital role workplaces play in improving social mobility and the wide-ranging benefits that come with it. As part of this achievement, Chemonics UK also receives a bespoke report, providing tailored insights and recommendations to drive its social mobility agenda even further.  

In 2024, Chemonics UK partnered with upReach, a social mobility charity that supports undergraduates from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. Through this partnership, the company launched its first Work Experience Programme, engaging students from lower-income households and those who are the first in their families to attend university.
