Melissa Gasmi

As principal for Chemonics’ growth division, Melissa Gasmi leverages more than 20 years of experience to drive business expansion into new markets. Prior to this, Melissa served as senior vice president for Chemonics’ Middle East and North Africa division where she oversaw project operations, business development, and client relations. Previously, Melissa led Chemonics projects focused on business and trade in the Middle East and Asia. She began her career at the Corporate Executive Board as a senior manager of a financial sector program providing strategic research for executives of business banking business divisions at more than 150 financial institutions worldwide. Melissa’s expertise includes financial services, public financial management, partnership development, and financial analysis.

Melissa holds a M.A. in international development with a specialization in developmental economics from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a B.A. in International Studies from Dickinson College.
