Anne Kottmeier

Anne Kottmeier is Chemonics’ chief information officer. She has more than 20 years of global experience in business transformation and information technology management for Fortune 500 companies and non-profits across multiple industries. Prior to Chemonics, Anne served as the chief product officer of AccelerEd, a Global Distance Learning Institution with more than 90,000 students in 150 locations at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Before her position at AccelerEd, she served as vice president of information technology and operations for AARP, where she developed an IT strategy, provided leadership and management of business applications, infrastructure, and end-user engineering, and supported business digital transformation.

Anne holds a master’s degree in computer science and telecommunications and bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physics from the Ecole Polytechnique Feminine, Paris. She earned her MBA in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and completed an executive program at Harvard Business School.
