Lessons in Leveraging Data and Digital Development to Support Economic Growth in Kosovo (2014-2024)

Data and digital technologies are reshaping governance landscapes worldwide, prompting countries to rethink and re-engineer public service delivery to maximize their potential. The growing public appetite for data and digital technologies presents a range of opportunities and challenges to be overcome. This technical brief summarizes key initiatives and lessons learned from more than a decade of work by Chemonics in Kosovo, through the USAID Partnerships for Development Project and USAID Economic Governance Activity, to integrate data into Kosovo’s economic governance reforms to enhance policy planning, streamline reform implementation, and improve performance monitoring.
