Ethiopia Country Director, USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program - Procurement and Supply Management Project Tesfaye Seifu
Tesfaye Seifu is a health supply chain leader and expert with nearly 21 years of health supply chain and pharmacy services experience, including 11 years implementing USAID-funded health supply chain projects in Ethiopia. He is currently the country director for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project in Ethiopia. His expertise includes health supply chain system design; quantification, procurement, warehousing, and distribution of medicines; health supply chain system strengthening; project management; and capacity building. Tesfaye was previously the country director and deputy country director of Supply Chain Management Systems (SCMS) project in Ethiopia. He holds an MSc.in pharmaceutics and B. Pharm from Addis Ababa University and an MBA from St. Mary’s University, Addis Ababa. Also, Tesfaye is a Project Management Professional (PMP-PMI), Risk Management Professional (RMP-PMI), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), and Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD).
