Program Director Oscar Mutanda
Oscar Mutanda brings over 10 years of experience managing corporate social responsibility projects for mining corporations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He currently serves as the program director of the Ivanhoe Fionet Program, a healthcare partnership with Ivanhoe Mines and the Fio Corporation. Mr. Mutanda has technical and management expertise in community mobilization, training and development, program design, evaluation, and meeting quality and ISO requirements. He also has extensive experience building relationships with national government officials, local and international NGOs, and international donors, including USAID, DFID, the World Bank, and the IFC. He holds an M.A. in international community economic development from Southern New Hampshire University and is fluent in French, Lingala, Tshiluba, and Swahili.
