Transition Manager Kim Shelsby
Kim Shelsby has more than 25 years of experience in trade, private sector development, supply chains, business enabling environment, and agriculture. Mr. Shelsby is currently the transition manager on the Procurement and Supply Chain Management project. Previously, Mr. Shelsby was director of the Asia and Middle East Economic Growth Best Practices project and oversaw an infrastructure rehabilitation project in Syria. He has also served as the deputy chief of party for a private sector and trade project in Zambia. Prior to joining Chemonics, Mr. Shelsby worked for the Dutch development agency, SNV, providing technical assistance in agricultural value chains and business development services. Mr. Shelsby has worked in more than 40 countries in Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. He holds master’s degrees in applied cultural anthropology and business.
