Ghana Country Director, USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) Project Deo Kimera

Deo Kimera is a licensed pharmacist with more than 20 years of international health systems strengthening experience, including 10 years of experience leading multilateral USAID health supply chain projects in Botswana, Tanzania, and Ghana. He is well-versed in health commodity supply chain management and has a proven record of successfully engaging with multiple stakeholders, including the Global Fund, PEPFAR, USAID, DFID, World Health Organization, health ministries, and other host-country institutions involved in health service delivery across multiple health technical areas including HIV/AIDS, malaria, maternal newborn and child health, and family planning. Deo holds a pharmacy degree from Makerere University Medical School and a MPH in health economics from the University of Cape Town.
